Every piece of furniture was designed and built for the space. Textiles were sourced from different parts of the world, and we collaborated with artisans and local communities to create the lamps, crockery, carpets, cushions, and blankets. Each detail was crafted specifically for the house, shaping a cohesive and timeless atmosphere.
We worked with local carpenters to build the house and its custom furnishings, drawing inspiration from regional antiques for the design of the chairs and other pieces. Textiles and carpets arrived from Bali and the Middle East, while artisans from Oaxaca, Izamal, Peru, and Colombia contributed their craft.
Lina oversaw the creative direction of the project, ensuring every element reflected a unified and enduring vision.
The result was a project full of life and attention to detail, where every object carries a soul and reflects the beauty of handmade craftsmanship. This retreat space was designed to convey peace, harmony, and a connection to the land and the spirit. Every element—from the furnishings to the materials—was chosen to enhance the experience, creating a space for relaxation, yoga, meditation, and mindful presence.
